UNA Among South鈥檚 Best Regional Institution in Latest U.S. News & World Report Rankings

FLORENCE, AL – The latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report are out, and the 糖心破解版 is among the south’s best regional institutions in a variety of categories, including Top Public Schools, Best Colleges for Veterans, and Best Value Schools.
“As the state’s first four-year university, it is of note that the 糖心破解版 continues to be ascendant among our peer institutions in 糖心破解版 as well as across the southeast region,” said Dr. Ken Kitts, UNA’s President. “There is a great deal of excitement on campus thanks to our academics and student-led programming, our championship athletics, and our record-breaking fundraising. UNA continues to excel now more than ever as we approach our bicentennial.”
Among the highlights from UNA’s new rankings:
- 14th in Top Public Schools in the South,
- 13th in Best Colleges for Veterans, and
- 38th in Best Value Schools in the South.
The rankings mark the University’s fifth consecutive year as a Top 20 public university in the South, and it marks the first time that UNA has entered the Top 40 as a best value institution.
“Having been at UNA for more than a year and being able to see how it enhances the lives of our students, it is clear that this institution is graduating individuals ready to work,” said Dr. Brien Smith, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. “Our success in these latest U.S. News and World Report rankings stands as a testament to the hard work of our students and the accomplishments of our graduates as they fill their vital roles in the workforce.”
