Einar Gudmundsson

Einar Gudmundsson received his culinary arts degree from the Hotel and Restaurant School of Iceland 1994. He then spent thirteen years as a Sous Chef, Banquet Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Executive Chef in various luxury restaurants, hotels, and resorts. Professor Gudmundsson was a Food and beverage Director for nine years and has been a Professor at UNA since 2016, teaching Culinary Arts Management. Professor Gudmundsson is a Certified Executive Chef (CEC) from the American Culinary Federation. He received an MBA in International Hospitality Management from GLION Switzerland and manages CARTE, his F&B consulting and solutions business.
